intro: Even Friday the 13th can't stop the year Taylor Swift is having.

The "Red" artist, who just happens to share her 24th birthday with the ominous date, cleaned up at both the CMA Awards and AMA Awards this year, and is "swiftly" becoming one of the most dominating names in entertainment.

She was even nominated for a Golden Globe Award Thursday for Best Original Song for "Sweeter Than Fiction," a tune she did for the biopic "One Chance."

"A Golden Globe nomination on my birthday... I think it's safe to say there will be no walking for me today, only skipping and frolicking," she tweeted after finding out.

Swift was also honored with the CMA Pinnacle Award last month, which goes to a singer who has taken country music to a worldwide audience. No kidding. Swift has sold more than 20 million albums across the globe to date. Target, Diet Coke and Walgreens have also tapped the stunning blonde beauty for endorsement deals.

Wow, time flies. It seems just like yesterday Kanye was grabbing the microphone from Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009. Swift has come a long way since then, that same year she won her first Grammy Award and hasn't looked back since. So, take a look at the progression of Taylor Alison Swift in just five clicks!

She was called a prodigy by the New Yorker and the New York Times called the album, "a small masterpiece of pop-minded country, both wide-eyed and cynical, held together by Ms. Swift's firm, pleading voice."

quicklist: 2 title: Kanye West - 2009 text: After a huge year for Swift in 2009, Kanye West put a damper on her night at the MTV Video Muisc Awards. After winning in the Best Female Video category for "You Belong With Me," West interrupted Swift's speech. After giving thanks, the rapper stepped in.

"Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" he said of Beyonce's "Single Ladies."

The VMAs crowd erupted in cheers of support for a shell shocked Swift, who reportedly broke down in tears backstage.

title: Relationships 2010-2012 text: Swift has been linked to many of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors over the last few years. She dated John Mayer from late 2009 to early 2010, then actor Jake Gyllenhaal in late 2010. It's assumed that many of her songs are penned about her exes, but one ex in particular, One Direction's Harry Styles, got a lot of attention.

In late 2012, Styles, 19 and Swift were seen walking through Central Park in NYC and looking adorable visiting the zoo together. Sadly, the two broke it off in January 2013.

title: Pinnacle - 2013 text: There's no denying 2013 was Taylor Swift's year. After being awarded the Pinnacle honor at the CMAs, she hit the carpet at the AMAs looking like a grown-up, confident woman, no longer the teenage prodigy.

No one was paying any attention to the award show, just Taylor's mini dress!
