WATCH: Golden Globe nominations come on heels of #MeToo

The nominations for the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced Monday morning. They were dominated by acclaimed shows such as “Big Little Lies” and “Feud: Bette and Joan,” along with Oscar-buzzy films like “I, Tonya” and “Lady Bird.”

“Big Little Lies” scored nods for stars Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, Alexander Skarsgard, Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, and “Feud” earned nods for Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon.

Netflix’s “Master of None” scored honors for creator and star Aziz Ansari, and HBO’s made-for-TV movie “The Wizard of Lies” got nods for actors Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer.

On the film side, “I, Tonya” was nominated in numerous categories for its portrayal of disgraced ice skater Tonya Harding. Actresses Margot Robbie and Allison Janney scored nods. “Lady Bird” received honors for stars Laurie Metcalf and Saoirse Ronan.

Christopher Plummer was a surprise nomination for his work in “All the Money in the World,” after he replaced Kevin Spacey in the film last month.

Golden Globe Award winners Alfre Woodard and Sharon Stone, along with “Mudbound” star Garrett Hedlund and “Frozen” star Kristen Bell announced the nominees.

The Golden Globe Awards, this year hosted by Seth Meyers, will air live on Jan. 7, 2018 from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
