A second trailer for director Ava DuVernay's adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s classic 1962 novel, "A Wrinkle in Time," debuted during Sunday's American Music Awards.
The film stars Storm Reid as Meg Murry who, along with her brother Charles Wallace and her friend Calvin O'Keefe -- played by Deric McCabe and Levi Miller, respectively -- travel through time and space to find their missing father, portrayed by Chris Pine.

DuVernay said in July that she wanted to make a film “with a cast that looked like you, looked like the real world.”
"A Wrinkle in Time" opens nationwide next March from Disney, parent company of ABC News.
