One Louisiana father has earned the nickname "Dino dad" -- and it's pretty clear why.
When Tad Parnell had the day off last week, he dug out his T. rex Halloween costume, put it on and danced in his driveway as his oldest daughter's school bus approached.
The Addis, Louisiana family is used to Tad, or "Dino dad," as his wife, Megan Parnell, called him, "doing crazy things."
The Parnells have four children Madelyn, 12, Ty Parnell, 11, Ella Claire Parnell, 7, and Harper Parnell, 3.
"My kids adore their dad as he is a super active part in their lives," Megan Parnell told ABC. "We were young parents and although at times we have struggled, their daddy has done all he could to make their childhood memorable and happy."
"Every day, we have a ton of kids all ages at our home and Tad can be found playing basketball in the driveway with the boys or inside playing pranks on the girls," she added. "The kids, both ours and others, adore him and we are so glad that he is ours!"
