Prince William, Duchess Kate and Prince George have arrived in Mustique to enjoy a family holiday with Kate's parents.

This is 18-month-old Prince George's second international holiday and third trip abroad.

The couple, who generally take an annual trip to the Caribbean island famed for its privacy and beauty, will celebrate Carole Middleton's 60th birthday on January 31 along with Kate's siblings Pippa and James.

The Middleton family has rented Villa Aurora in Mustique in the past and it's believed they're there again. The stunning property, which rents for $20,000 a week, includes three bedrooms, a 45-foot swimming pool, private rock pool and a staff of five including a butler. The Daily Mirror reported that it's likely Prince William and Kate and their personal protection team have rented an adjacent villa.

The island is among the most exclusive in the Caribbean with world famous Basil's Bar which has seen celebrity visitors from Mick Jagger to the queen's sister Princess Margaret. The island also boasts a no paparazzi policy, which allows the family to have some semblance of privacy, though pictures generally surface taken from yachts moored off the coast. Prince William and Kate are expected to enjoy the turquoise waters and white sandy beaches.

Kate and William are extremely close to her parents and they were the first to visit them after Kate gave birth. The couple also stayed with them in Kate's family home in Bucklebury with Prince George in the weeks following his birth and recently invited her family to celebrate Christmas with them at their new country home Anmer Hall near the queen's Sandringham estate.

Kate is about six months along with Baby Cambridge #2. She completed three days of engagements just last week and is expected to do several more when she returns from this vacation, which could last up to two weeks. She recently told well-wishers at an event in Notting Hill the new baby was making itself known, "moving all the time...I can feel it kicking," she added.

William and Kate have chosen to keep the baby's sex a surprise from them as they did with Prince George.

William is busy studying for exams to acquire his commercial pilot's license and is expected to become a member of the East Anglia Air Ambulance this spring. It'll be a busy time, as their baby, the fourth in line to the throne, is due in April.
