In what must have been a surreal moment, former "Friends" star David Schwimmer said he spent time with Kris Jenner in preparing to play her former husband in "American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson."
Schwimmer, 48, will be playing Robert Kardashian in the show that chronicles the big O.J. Simpson murder trial from the late 1990s.

Jenner, 59, was famously in support of the family of the late Nicole Brown, who was Simpson's ex-wife and the one slain in 1994.
"I was lucky enough to speak to (Jenner) for a few hours who was very generous with her time," Schwimmer told The Associated Press today. "I thought, `Who better to tell me who Robert was as a husband and a father than her?' and it's been a very exciting process so far."
The show is set to debut on FX in 2016 and features other stars like Selma Blair as Jenner and Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson.
"People keep asking me whether I think he did it or not, and I don't think that's the goal here, to prove his innocence or his guilt," Gooding told the AP. "I think it's more us putting the judicial system under the spotlight. ... I think this 10 hours of television is going to be very powerful."
