A mobile home near Benson, North Carolina, was destroyed after occupants inside the home reportedly tried to get rid of bed bugs on their mattresses.

The occupants were trying to use propane heaters to kill the bed begs when their mattresses caught fire, fire officials told ABC station WTVD in Durham.

One man suffered minor burns, and a female teenager passed out, though neither was transported to a hospital, WTVD added.
