Baby Gorilla Shares Tender Moment With Little Girl at Fort Worth Zoo in Texas

Fort Worth Zoo
Fort Worth Zoo in Texas posted a photo to Facebook on May 23, 2016, showing a little girl named Braylee sharing a tender moment with a baby gorilla named Gus.

A little girl recently shared a tender moment with a baby gorilla at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas, and the encounter was caught on an adorable photograph.

In the photo, the baby gorilla named Gus can be seen playing a little "monkey see, monkey do" with the young girl named Braylee.

Gus shared a special connection with Braylee when he apparently put his hands on the exhibit glass to line up with hers.

"As he gets older, Gus is exploring more and more of the world around him, which includes encounters with new friends like Braylee of Fort Worth," the zoo wrote on Facebook, where the photo has been getting hundreds of shares and positive comments.

Gus is the "first-ever western lowland gorilla" born at the zoo, according to a news release in December.

The primate was born on Dec. 5 to "first-time parents Gracie and Elmo," the zoo said.
