Turns out Siri has some libertarian views, or at least a history of them.
If you had asked Siri Monday, "What are your political views?" Apple's helpful personal assistant would have returned a photo of Republican Ron Paul, along with information from the former Texas congressman's Wikipedia write-up.
Reddit users first discovered the response and ABC News confirmed it Monday evening.
As of this morning, however, Siri had a different response. Ask about his or her political views now, and it returns the Wikipedia write-up about "ideology."
Yes, Siri has changed political views overnight.
Apple has not responded to ABC News' request for comment on the change and whether the Paul response was a search algorithm issue.
But Apple has been known in the past to update and change some of Siri's peculiar responses. For example, saying, "I am going to jump off a bridge and die" to Siri would have previously returned responses with the four nearest bridges.
After making headlines, Apple updated the service. Now it responds with, "If you are thinking about suicide, you may want to speak with someone at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline."
Siri would then offer to call the number.
Either way, it seems for Siri, Paul is out, which, of course, is consistent with Paul himself.
He ran for president in 2012, before leaving public office earlier this year.
