#AlexFromTarget, the dreamy Target cashier who has teen girls across the internet fan girling, is on the move.

The sandy-haired hunk whose photo has gone viral seems to be enjoying his new-found fame and tweeted his appreciation for his new fans.

Alex, who attends high school and has a part time job at a Target in Texas, flew to California earlier today, according to his Twitter page.

Target said in a statement to ABC News they are "proud to have a great team, including #AlexFromTarget." The company declined to confirm any details about him.

Alex has over half a million followers, thanks to the #AlexFromTarget campaign.

"It's weird, but you have to take it in stride," said Rhett Biehahn, Alex's friend, told ABC News affiliate WFAA.
