Trump was nominated for an Emmy multiple times for “The Apprentice,” but never won, and fumed about it publicly. In 2012, Trump tweeted, "The Emmys are all politics, that's why, despite nominations, “The Apprentice” never won -- even though it should have many times over."

Baldwin -- who takes home a statue tonight for best supporting actor in a comedy series after a season full of Trump impressions on the show -- then moved away from the subject of the president in his acceptance speech.
