Fall vibes are in full swing and with the change of season comes creative concoctions using autumnal ingredients, like this tasty riff on a cult-favorite cocktail recipe.
"I took my most favorite cocktail, a classic espresso martini, and gave it some fall flare by making a pumpkin version," KaleJunkie creator Nicole Keshishian Modic told "Good Morning America" of her new seasonal sip.
"By using pumpkin puree and coffee creamer and shaking well, the drink gets nice and creamy and produces a yummy froth on top, which is a little different than a classic espresso martini, in the best possible way," she added.
Check out her recipe below and try it for yourself.
Makes 1 cocktail
Ingredients
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Kahlúa
1 shot espresso (or 2 ounces strong coffee)
1 ounce vanilla coffee creamer (or plain)
1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (if you want more pumpkin flavor, use 1 teaspoon)
Directions
In a cocktail shaker add lots of ice, followed by the ingredients listed above. Shake, shake, shake, shake your booty until the drink is nice and cold.
Pour the cocktail into a glass, top with a few espresso beans and enjoy!
