What's coming on the new McValue menu at McDonald's, plus $5 Meal Deal extended

Get ready to ring in the New Year with affordable fast food prices, because value is staying on the menu at McDonald's.

After confirming to ABC News earlier this week that the $5 Meal Deal would be extended into the first half of 2025, McDonald's officially announced its new everyday value menu to keep prices affordable for customers on fan-favorite menu items.

The Golden Arches will roll out the new McValue platform on Jan. 7, 2025 in restaurants nationwide.

What is on the new McValue menu at McDonald's

The McValue menu will include popular existing offers like the hit sensation $5 Meal Deal, along with local food and drink promos and exclusive offers in-app. Plus, there is a brand new Buy One, Add One for $1 offer coming for popular items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Buy One, Add One for $1

Customers can customize their own deal with a mix and match option on their favorite items. When you buy one full-priced menu item from the McValue menu, you can add one more item for just $1.

The McValue menu items included for breakfast are: Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito and Hash Browns.

The lunch and dinner McValue items will include: six-piece Chicken McNuggets, Double Cheeseburger, McChicken and small fries.

$5 Meal Deal and more

The $5 Meal Deal has officially been extended through next summer and will be part of the new McValue platform.

The deal, which includes a choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, four-piece chicken McNuggets, small fries and a small soft drink, first launched this summer for a limited time. In September, the fast food chain announced it would extend the deal into December.

The news comes on the heels of McDonald's warning that sales could take a hit following a regional E-coli outbreak tied to raw onions. The Chicago-based company is now investing millions of dollars to boost traffic at select locations.

Executives at competitors like Burger King, Wendy's and Kentucky Fried Chicken have all remained laser-focused on dishing up low prices with similar value meals becoming fixtures on fast food menus in recent months.
