How to make apple crumble cobbler in an Instant Pot

"GMA" put the call out to our favorite chefs to create some of our favorite dishes using an Instant Pot.

Michael Strahan asked food blogger and YouTuber Jeffrey Eisner of Pressure Luck Cooking to bring his best dessert to the table.

Jeffrey Eisner made his Instant Pot recipe for apple crumble cobbler on "GMA."

Eisner prepared one of his most popular recipes for an all-American dessert he describes as "the best pie filling you've ever had," but with even more delicious flavor and oat topping.

Apple Crumble Cobbler

Ingredients:

5 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into cubed chunks

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 tablespoons caramel syrup (plus more for topping at the end)

1/2 cup water

1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) salted butter, melted

1/4 cup flour

1/3 cup light brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

3/4 cup old fashioned

Vanilla ice cream, scooped

Directions:

Add the apples to the Instant Pot and top with the nutmeg, cinnamon, maple syrup, caramel sauce and water.

To create the topping, using a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and then add in the brown sugar, flour, salt and oats. Mix well and add the the topping over the apple mixture.

Secure the lid and hit "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" High Pressure for eight minutes. Allow a natural release.

Serve right out of the pot and top with vanilla ice cream and some more caramel sauce.
