As the U.S. faces the worst blood shortage in more than a decade, during National Blood Donor Month, one business has a plan of action to help get more Americans involved with a sweet incentive.
Krispy Kreme announced Monday it would thank anyone in America who donates blood through Jan. 31 with a free Original Glazed Dozen doughnuts.
After donating, customers can visit a participating Krispy Kreme shop, show their donation sticker or confirmation of donation on the Red Cross blood donor app to receive their pastries.
