Here's what you need to make the meatballs and cream sauce at home:

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork

1 clove of garlic

1 medium onion

1 egg

5 tablespoons of milk (whole milk)

3/4 cups breadcrumbs

Salt and pepper

Directions

The beef and pork mixture is combined with garlic and onion, egg and breadcrumbs, then the milk and salt and pepper get added.

The recipe suggests letting the meatballs rest for up to two hours once formed to help maintain their shape while cooking.

Brown the meatballs in a frying pan on all sides and then bake in an oven at approximately 350 degrees for 30 minutes until cooked.

For the sauce, you will need oil, butter, flour, vegetable stock, beef stock, heavy cream, soy sauce and dijon mustard.

First, melt the butter in a saucepan and whisk in the flour to make a roux that will thicken the sauce. Once combined and the flour is cooked through, add both the vegetable and beef stock.

Add the heavy cream, soy sauce and mustard and reduce the gravy over a low simmer.
