WATCH: We love every single thing about this stepdad receiving this sentimental gift

This is a story that is just sticky sweet.

A Maryland girl saved a treasure trove of inspirational Post-it notes from her stepfather, which he wrote throughout her time in middle school, and gave them to him as a present on Father's Day.

The video of Brian Sandusky opening his present from Sophia Wilcox was posted to Twitter where it was viewed more than 6 million times.

Wilcox wrote in her tweet that her stepdad had given her the notes throughout middle school. She left middle school six years ago, but held onto the notes.

Wilcox told ABC News station KABC there was not a single duplicate over the years.

In the video, Sandusky becomes emotional when he realizes what he's just unwrapped. "These are all your notes," he said though tears.

"I kept them all. I love you," said Wilcox.
