Adam Sandler is a dad of 2: What to know about his family

Adam Sandler has made a name for himself in the entertainment world for the last three decades, but aside from acting, performing and singing, the beloved comedian is also a devoted family man.

Sandler and his wife Jackie Sandler , whom he wed in 2003, are the parents of two daughters, Sadie and Sunny.

Both Sadie and Sunny star alongside their dad in the highly-anticipated sequel, "Happy Gilmore 2."

The movie, airing on Netflix in July, features Sadie and Sunny alongside new co-stars including Bad Bunny as Sandler reprises his role as a down-and-out hockey player who uses his prior experience to pick up golf.

Sandler made a surprise cameo at the 2025 Oscars, where he appeared in the audience wearing his trademark basketball shorts and hoodie during host Conan O'Brien's opening monologue.

When O'Brien called Adam Sandler out for his appearance, the "Happy Gilmore" star brought the audience to laughs with his reply.

"Nobody even thought about what I was wearing until you brought it up," Sandler replied to O'Brien's question about what he was wearing.

Earlier in this year's awards season, Adam and Jackie Sandler had a date night at the 2025 Golden Globes on Jan. 5, where Adam Sandler was nominated for best performance in stand-up comedy on television.

When Adam Sandler debuted his new Netflix comedy special in August, Jackie Sandler was by his side at the special's screening in New York City.

She also joined her husband in New York City in February to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Saturday Night Live," the sketch comedy series that Adam Sandler starred in from 1991 to 1995.

In July, the entire Sandler family stepped out on the orange carpet for the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California, where Adam Sandler won an orange blimp for favorite male voice (animation) for his role as Leo the lizard in "Leo."

Adam Sandler's family also joined him at the Los Angeles premiere of his film "Spaceman" in February. The film stars Adam Sandler as an astronaut on a mission to save his marriage.

Jackie Sandler

Adam and Jackie Sandler met back in 1998 and have been married since 2003.

When Adam Sandler received the People's Choice Icon Award in February 2024, he called his wife "my girl" and "my partner for life."

"I love every car ride and every kiss we've ever had forever and ever," Adam Sandler said in part.

The Sandler family have been involved in several of Adam Sandler's recent projects, including the 2023 animated film "Leo" and the 2023 comedy film "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah."

Sadie Sandler

Born May 6, 2006, Sadie Sandler is the eldest Sandler daughter.

Both Sadie and her sister Sunny have followed their father's footsteps into acting.

"They are kind of passionate about wanting to be good in acting and that's all they talk about," Adam Sandler told Jimmy Kimmel in a November 2023 interview.

Sunny Sandler is the youngest Sandler child and was born Nov. 2, 2008.

When Adam Sandler delivered his acceptance speech for the People's Choice Icon Award, he said of his daughters, "Not a minute goes by without me thinking of you and how much I love you, how awesome I think you are. You're my best friends."
