Once a wildcat, always a wildcat.
Zac Efron shared a photo on Instagram Friday with him standing in front of Salt Lake East High School, where "High School Musical" was filmed, and pumping his fist in the air like John Bender at the end of the film, "The Breakfast Club."
In the caption, Efron wrote, "Don't you… Forget About Me," with a fist emoji -- also a reference to the song heard at the end of "The Breakfast Club."
Efron rose to fame for playing Troy Bolton in the "High School Musical" films. After "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" premiered in 2008, the actor has gone on to star in blockbusters like the "Neighbors" films and "The Greatest Showman."
In May, Zac Efron told E! News that he would be up for a reboot of the Disney Channel films.
"Seriously, having the opportunity in any form to go back and work with that team would be so amazing," he said. "My heart's still there."
Efron isn't the only "High School Musical" star to visit the beloved campus. Last month, his co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, who played Gabriela Montez in the movies, also took a trip to East High, and shared a video of the experience on Instagram.

While the original "High School Musical" cast, which also includes Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel, has yet to reunite for a revival of the hit films, "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," a spinoff starring Olivia Rodrigo, is coming back to Disney+ with a third season. The third season, will be available on the streaming platform on July 27, with stars Bleu, JoJo Siwa and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Disney is the parent company of ABC News and "Good Morning America."
