U.S. Open 2023: Barack and Michelle Obama, Mike Tyson, Anna Wintour among celebrity attendees

WATCH: Players to watch in the US Open

Celebrities from the worlds of politics, sports, entertainment and more -- including former first lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama, Lindsey Vonn and Danny DeVito -- converged on Queens, New York, this week to see some of the biggest names in tennis compete on one of the sports world's largest stages.

The celebrity guests were among the many spectators lining the bleachers at world-famous USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, where the first round of the U.S. Open kicked off Monday.

Attendees will get to watch the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Iga Świątek and Coco Gauff battle it out on the court from now through Sept. 10.
