Tom Hanks recently lost his credit card, but to his surprise, a stranger actually returned it.

Earlier today, the 58-year-old actor didn't let the good deed go unnoticed.

Hanks took to Twitter to publicly thank "Tony," the New Yorker who brought it back.

It's not clear where the "Captain Phillips" star lost his card, or if the good Samaritan met up with him to return it.
