5 Things to Know About 'Bachelor in Paradise'

WATCH: Behind the Scenes of 'Bachelor in Paradise'

Just last week, "Bachelorette" fans saw Andi Dorfman accept an engagement ring from Josh Murray. It was an exciting moment for viewers -- until the realization that it would be months before the season premiere of the next "Bachelor" installment.

Fear not. Tonight, a new franchise, "Bachelor In Paradise," premieres on ABC to quench your dating competition thirst.

Chris Harrison: I'm Bringing My Kids Along to Shoot 'Bachelor in Paradise'

Here are five things to know about the brand new show:

1. The Focus Is On Relationships:

Here's how it works: 25 of the most talked-about contestants from previous "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" seasons will try to find love in Tulum, Mexico. However, they won't all arrive at once. To start, 14 cast members will appear: eight females and six males. Each man will hand out a rose to a woman he wants to spend more time with and whoever does not receive a rose will go home. In the next episode, two new males will arrive and so on and so forth. "Our show is about love. It's about finding that special someone," Chris Harrison told ABC News in June. "I think we're concentrating more on that aspect and less about the game element. 'Bachelor Pad' was created as a game show. 'Bachelor in Paradise' is about finding love."

2. You Know All the Contestants:

Here are the men and women who will appear in the first episode: Ashlee Frazier (Sean's season), Ben Scott (Desiree's season), Clare Crawley (Juan Pablo's season), Daniella McBride (Sean's season), Dylan Petit (Andi's season), Elise Mosca (Juan Pablo's season), Graham Bunn (Deanna's season and "Bachelor Pad," season two), Lacy Faddoul (Juan Pablo's season), Marcus Grodd (Andi's season), Marquel Martin (Andi's season), Michelle Kujawa (Jake's season, "Bachelor Pad," season one), Robert Graham (Desiree's season), Sarah Herron (Sean's season). The latecomers are Brooks Forester (Desiree's season), Chris Bukwoski (Emily's season, "Bachelor Pad," season three), Christy Hansen (Juan Pablo's season), Cody Sattler (Andi's season), Danielle Ronco (Juan Pablo's season), Jackie Parr (Sean's season), Jesse Kovacs (Jillian's season, "Bachelor Pad," season one), Kalon McMahan (Emily's season and "Bachelor Pad," season three), Lucy Aragon (Juan Pablo's season), Tasos Hernandez (Andi's season), and Zack Kalter (Desiree's season).

3. It's a Second Chance for Some to Save Face:

Some contestants won over fans during their time on "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" while others simply invoked viewers' ire. Nobody knows this more than single dad Ben Scott, who was accused of being on the show for the "wrong reasons." "With 'Paradise,' I'd love for this to be my redemption story," he said in a clip obtained by Entertainment Weekly. "This time I'm going to making some new friends, maybe get a little romantic spark going."

4. Contestants Will Show a Lot of Skin:

They're living in a beach house, so expect to see a ton of bikinis and shirtless men. "These are beautiful people," said Harrison with a laugh. "They need to be in bathing suits!'

5. There Will Be So Much Emotion:

According to the video below, there will be laughter, romance and tears. Lots and lots of tears.
