Two weeks after Ellen DeGeneres presented Pink with the Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards, the two reunited Wednesday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
During the awards show, Pink inspired the audience with a speech aimed at her six-year-old daughter, Willow, about not conforming to society’s beauty standards.
Willow, however, was "incredibly unimpressed" by the whole thing, P!nk told the talk show host.
"I was like, 'Babe, are you excited about today? I’m going to win an award and I’m going to do a show,'" the singer recalled. "And she goes, 'Exactly how many minutes after you sing does my sleepover start?'”

The singer said that she cried after the conversation, and ultimately, encouraged her daughter to love herself for who she is.
"I get my feelings hurt all the time. It hurts," she admitted. "But if you're human, you're gonna hear it. ... I'm just trying to make her more resilient."
Pink has two children with her husband, Carey Hart. her album, "Beautiful Trama," is due out Oct. 13.
