Paula Patton is sloooowly getting back into the dating game after her split from Robin Thicke.

The "Warcraft" star told Essence magazine's digital weekly show, "Essence Live," that she finds dating to be an uncomfortable experience.

"I haven’t been doing too much of it, it’s kind of strange," Patton admitted. "Listen...I met [Robin] when I was 15 years old, and I have no idea what I'm doing."

Patton and Thicke, 39, divorced in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The two have a 6-year-old son, Julian.

Still, Patton, 40, added that she's "having a blast" learning.

"I’ve learned a lot about myself and a lot about a lot of other people and what I like and don’t like," Patton continued.

In fact, the actress detailed exactly what she's looking for in a mate.

“You know what the biggest thing is for me? Somebody who really likes to have fun,” Patton said. "I want a man, but I want a man that also wants to embrace his inner child. You know? Laugh. Have fun. Enjoy the moment...I just, I want to be happy. Life is too short.”

Along with learning about potential suitors, Patton said she's also learning about herself.

“It’s really nice, honestly, getting used to being alone. It’s freeing,” Patton said. “It’s scary at the beginning. It’s really scary. But it’s something I’m coming to embrace, knowing that’s really what it is now -- learning to love yourself, enjoying your time with your friends and family, and then it will sort itself out. But I gotta figure all that out I think first. I have to learn that.”
