In her new role on TV, Elizabeth "sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives -- and the men who are suddenly listening -- a lot more than recipes," according to the show's synopsis.

Garmus' bestselling debut novel was released in April 2022.
It was named the 2022 Barnes & Noble Book of the Year and was also the April 2022 "GMA" Book Club pick.
Garmus previously told "GMA" that you should read her book if you're "tired of all the ways people make life miserable for others through misogyny and racism, and all the societal burdens that surely should have been eradicated by now."
"Maybe you could also use a laugh," she continued, "but also some inspiration from a woman in the '60s who refuses to conform, and because of it, encourages a nation to dare and be different."
"Lessons in Chemistry" will be available to stream on Apple TV+. New weekly episodes will arrive on the streaming platform on Fridays through Nov. 24.
