The trio of actresses -- wearing white bathrobes while cheering from their respective homes -- completely stole the show with their rendition of the classic tune during “Take Me to the World: A Sondheim 90th Birthday Celebration.” As for their drinks, Streep, 70, mixed a martini, Baranski, 67, poured a glass of red wine, and McDonald, 49, opted for whiskey -- from the bottle.

The online special gathered numerous celebrities together on Zoom to benefit Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP). The festivities -- which came weeks after Sondheim turned 90 on March 22 -- coincided with the 50th anniversary of the opening night of “Company” on April 26, 1970.
