Kyra Sedgwick is a proud parent.
The actress took to Instagram recently to share a photo of her son, Travis, performing with his industrial metal band, Contracult Collective, at a music festival in Daytona Beach, Florida.
"My insanely talented kid rocked the house yesterday and I was lucky enough to be there!!" she wrote. "#proudmom."
Her husband and Travis' father, actor Kevin Bacon, commented on the post: "Wish I was too."
Sedgwick, 56, and Bacon, 63, have been married for 33 years and have two adult children together: Travis, 32, and Sosie, 29. Like her parents and brother, Sosie Bacon has also pursued a career in entertainment. She is an actress who has had roles in projects including "Mare of Easttown," "13 Reasons Why" and "Narcos: Mexico."
Earlier this year, Sedgwick told "Good Morning America" that becoming an empty-nester was "a real crushing blow."
"As a mom, if you do your job well, your children leave you," she said. "So it's weird and it's hard. But I'm grateful to have adult children now, but I think initially it's like, 'Wait, what are you talking about? I birthed you and I took care of you your whole life and now you're leaving me?!' It felt wrong."
