Kristen Bell recently celebrated getting to reunite with her parents after more than a year apart.
In an Instagram post featuring two snaps with her parents, "The Good Place" actress, 40, wrote about how special the moment was to her.
"It was my dad's birthday, so we took him out to a nice dinner and he told me that since it was his birthday he absolutely did not have to take his mask off for the pictures I wanted," she wrote in the post shared on Saturday. "I get my stubbornness from him."
"Happy birthday, dad. I'm so glad you're mine.🎂🎉" Bell added.

Alongside a clip of herself dancing, she wrote, "An actor prepares. (Can you tell I’m happy to be back at work??)"
