This morning, Khloe Kardashian's People magazine cover came out and in the interview, she included details about how Lamar Odom is recovering and how she's handling the situation.
Not too long after the cover and the interview went live, she took heat from critics. She hit right back.
"I want to make this VERY clear...My people cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened. PART 1," she tweeted. "It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is. PART 2."
She added, "Shame on you all for thinking the worst of me. It's been a tough few weeks. I don't need your f---- up energy! ... I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to. I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention."
Kardashian has been supporting the basketball star since he was found unconscious in a legal Nevada brothel more than two weeks ago.
Odom, 35, was hospitalized on Oct. 13, then opened his eyes three days later, according to friends and family. When Kardashian heard the news of Odom's incident, she told People magazine in the interview that went live today, "All I knew was I had to get there. I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. ... I wouldn't want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about."

Both parties signed off on that divorce earlier this year, but it was never finalized. Last week, both Kardashian and Odom called off the divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
That doesn't mean the two are back together.
"There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now," she told the magazine. "I loved him always, and I will always love him."
She continued, "I don't believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don't have to be with that person in order to love him."
At the time Odom opened his eyes a week and a half ago, Odom's family released a statement calling his recovery "miraculous." Kardashian agreed.
"The fact that he woke up was definitely a sigh of relief for everybody," she told People. "Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down but he's awake. He's alive and that's all I wanted, was for him to be okay. ... I will be there supporting him every step of the way."
