Because of his humble attitude and laid back persona, fans never wavered on their love for Reeves.
Starting with "John Wick: Chapter 3," Reeves punched 2019 right in the face.
After that hit, Reeves made an incredible cameo in "Always Be My Maybe," a subtle homage to his Asian ancestry, but more of a laugh at his public reputation.
"I never cower in the face of danger." No, Keanu, you sure don't.

Off camera, we saw Keanu entertaining fellow travelers when stranded in a random airport, on a bus taking pics with fans and more.
He also fulfilled one lucky girl's Make-A-Wish in the greatest way possible. Excellent!
The man captivated a nation and we are all the better for it.
Then came Tuesday's news.
Fans have theories on what the film will do after we lost Neo in the third installment. Also, will Keanu's films unite somehow? One can only dream.
Mostly fans are just excited for more Keanu.
But that's not all. How about a new "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure"?
Set for next summer, "Bill & Ted Face the Music" will awaken the kid in all of us!
Well, fans are getting "John Wick 4" in 2021, but they are clamoring for something else.
Something in a "galaxy far, far away."
After "Star Wars" announced plans to explore the Old Republic (basically a story thousands of years before Luke Skywalker and his legend), fans knew who they wanted as one of the most popular characters from that era.
"If they tried to cast anyone but Keanu Reeves as Darth Revan id be severely upset," one fan said about Reeves being the notorious character.
Fellow fans agreed and art was even constructed.
There's even a petition to make this happen.
Then there is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. OMG, Keanu would shine on that platform.
One fan wrote, "So whens keanu in marvel? he gonna be the new wolverine? or maybe gambit? make it so, or something."
Fans are waiting ...
So, yeah, Keanu has a lot going on -- but we're here for it, so bring it on!
