Katie Holmes made sure to stop and pay tribute to her daughter Suri earlier this week for National Daughter's Day.
She used the hashtag to post a photo of a beautiful painting in honor of her once little girl.

Holmes, who welcomed Suri in 2006 with ex-husband Tom Cruise, doesn't often post pics of her daughter in order to keep her private life private.
But when it's warranted, you'll see the good work that Holmes is instilling in her daughter.

And when's she not up to good, Suri is just spending time with mom and her friends.
Last summer, Suri posted a picture of the mini-me dressed in similar garb as mom, smiling ear-to-ear.
As for mom, she's featured in an upcoming TV movie, "No Apologies" and just completed work on the film adaptation of "The Secret," alongside Jerry O'Connell and Josh Lucas.
