Joey and Rory Feek can add "Grammy nominee" to their resumes.

The country duo received a nod this morning for best country duo/group performance.

"...woke my bride up this morning with a baby in my arms and the news that our version of 'If I Needed You' was nominated for a Grammy," Rory Feek wrote on Facebook. "As her excitement and tears flowed into mine. She said, 'how can that be?' ....the song received no radio airplay... no press... no critical acclaim... and the only music video we made for it was to celebrate the day our little Indiana was born. God is so good."

It's a bright spot in an otherwise difficult year for the couple, as Joey Feek, 40, has been fighting a battle with terminal cervical cancer. Though she's bedridden and currently in hospice care, Feek is staying positive, and has begun celebrating the holidays with her husband, 49, and their 21-month-old daughter, Indiana, in a new, bigger home in Alexandria, Indiana.

"Joey’s still feeling pretty good. Really good actually," Rory Feek wrote on his blog on Friday. "We've been able to keep her pain under control for the most part and her spirit is just as positive as ever. Even more so here lately."
