Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins' life after "The Bachelor" is being explored in their new show "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?"
In the season premiere Tuesday night on Freeform, the episode pulled the curtain back on their relationship, especially after Higgins told both his fiancee and runner-up JoJo Fletcher he loved them before choosing Bushnell at the end of season 20 earlier this year.

This results in resentment and arguments, they say.
To make the transition from reality show to normal engaged life even harder, the show gave an insight into the couple decision to go to Fletcher's "Bachelorette" special "After the Final Rose."
The show asked them, as alums, to give an update on their life and give Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers advice on transitioning off the show.
“The place where I get uncomfortable is when it’s you, me, and JoJo because it just takes me back to that day [during his season]. That was really hurtful for me, and it’s not JoJo’s fault and it’s not your fault -- I just don’t know what kind of advice I would offer her," she said about supporting Fletcher on a show to celebrate her finally finding love after Higgins.
The couple do decide to go, but they have to first watch Fletcher's season of "The Bachelorette." This proves to be difficult for Bushnell.
"For someone who supposedly moved on, JoJo talks a lot about Ben," Bushnell says in the episode. "I don’t want to resent JoJo. I don’t want to resent Ben. And I think that’s my biggest fear," she later said about grabbing lunch with Fletcher and Higgins in advance of their appearance on the special.
There's certainly more to come and "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?" airs at 8 p.m. ET Tuesdays on Freeform.
