Turner, 72, visited "Good Morning America" Wednesday, the day before the series premiere, and recalled what it was like the night he met the ladies hoping to win his heart.

It was so exciting meeting 22 beautiful women, all of different backgrounds, different interests and so forth. Every single person that got out of the limo was just an exciting adventure," he told "GMA."
Turner also teased "a little bit of variety" for the entrances, given that one of the contestants "didn't happen by limo."
As for whether there was any drama throughout the season, Turner said he only noticed it "just on the periphery"
"I think any time you have 22 people in an enclosed environment for any amount of time, somebody's going to annoy someone else," he said, revealing that there was one "very minor incident" he knows of.
Turner said the ladies, all of whom are between the ages of 60 and 75, conducted themselves with grace and maturity.

Did Turner end up finding love on the show? While he didn't spill the beans, he did give fans a hint as to whether or not there was a happy ending.
"Well, if I didn't, would I be sitting here smiling from ear to ear?" he said, flashing a smile. "I can't tell you I did though."
"The Golden Bachelor" premieres Thursday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
