During her acceptance speech after winning her first-ever Academy Award, Regina King thanked her mom onstage, saying "I love you so much!"
King, who took home an Oscar for best supporting actress in "If Beale Street Could Talk," opened up about what her mother meant to her in an exclusive backstage interview with "Good Morning America," saying: "I am vibrating to be able to share this moment with her."
"You can’t put in words, and I think most of us when it comes to our mothers, it's hard to put into words," King added. "You cannot quantify ... it's ever-growing, ever-changing, it’s always happening."
