Dolly Parton says she, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin are making progress on the sequel to their 1980 smash, "9 to 5."
"Well, it's actually pretty far down the road,” she told the Knoxville News Sentinel.
“They got the first rewrite, and we've made some changes," she continued. "So now we're into the second rewrite, so it's just a matter of getting all of our characters right and making sure that it's the right thing.”
In the original film, Dolly, Jane, and Lily play three secretaries who take on their “sexist, egotistical, lying hypocritical bigot” boss to create a better workplace.
