Britney Spears thrilled fans by recording herself singing a new a cappella version of her hit song "...Baby One More Time" recently.
The pop star posted the video on Instagram Friday. In it, Spears stands in front of a mirror in her home, singing the alternate version. "This is me yesterday doing laundry and separating clothes," she wrote in the caption. "I haven't shared my voice in an extremely long time ... maybe too long."

In her caption, she also took aim at those who she said had "ruined" the song for her, referencing a tribute performance at the 2017 Radio Disney Awards which included her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
"They ruined it for me, embarrassed me and made me feel like absolutely nothing," Spears wrote. "I share this because I am aware of my love and passion to sing ... and my own family made a fool of me. I'm not going to be a victim."
Explaining why she won't do a new version now, she noted, "It’s too late. Like I said, they ruined it for me."
"...Baby One More Time" was Spears' debut single, released in Sept. 1998, from her 1999 debut album of the same name. The chart-topping song was nominated for best female vocal performance at the 2000 Grammys.
