Former Olympian Bode Miller and his wife, professional volleyball player, Morgan Miller, have welcomed their sixth child together.
Morgan Miller gave birth to a baby girl on Nov. 26, she and her husband told People Magazine.
The baby, who does not yet have a name, weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 22.25 inches long.
"She's perfect and bringing her into this world was a perfect way to close this chapter of growing our family," the couple told the magazine. "Our hearts are so full."
The couple, who married in 2012, are also parents to sons Nash, 6, Easton, 3, and identical twins Asher and Aksel, 2. Their daughter, Emeline, or Emmy, died in a tragic drowning accident in 2018 when she was 19 months old. The former Olympic skier also has two children, daughter Dace, 13, and son Nate, 8, from previous relationships.
"After losing Emmy, we both felt like we wanted to try for a girl. You know, there's obviously no replacing kids," Bode Miller told People earlier this year. "All of ours are so unique that it's always a surprise, but then we had the identical twin boys [in 2019] and we were kind of like, 'Whoa, maybe, maybe that's the end for us.'"
"When you lose a child, you really recognize how special [that parent-child relationship] is," Morgan Miller added. "And not that we were ungrateful for what we had; our kids are absolutely incredible. But we just had so much more love to give and we had so much more love we wanted to give."
