Blake Shelton calls Gwen Stefani his 'better half' in sweet birthday post

Over the weekend, Blake Shelton shared a special message for his "better half," Gwen Stefani.

In Shelton's loving shout-out for his wife, Stefani, who celebrated her 52nd birthday on Sunday, he included a beautiful black-and-white photo from their wedding.

"Happy birthday to my better half.. my WIFE!!!! I love you @gwenstefani!" the country star wrote on Twitter, alongside the photo which shows the couple beaming as they dance at their wedding, the venue adorned with candles and, in the background, guests seated at tables boasting gorgeous candelabras.

Stefani also shared a post on social media, in which she thanked her fans for sharing well-wishes on her birthday. "Thank u for all the years of love and b day wishes today - love u gx," she wrote.

Shelton and Stefani wed on July 3 at their property in Shelton's native Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The wedding was officiated by Carson Daly.

Musically, the couple has two duets at the top of the country charts, "Nobody but You" and "Happy Anywhere."
