Artem Chigvintsev departing 'Dancing With the Stars' tour due to 'unexpected health issues'

Artem Chigvintsev is leaving the "Dancing With the Stars" tour.

The pro shared a note on his Instagram account on Thursday in which he explained his sudden departure.

"Hi DWTS family - My time on tour so far has been wonderful," his note began. "Unfortunately I am having to step away from tour for a while, due to some unexpected health issues. My goal is to recover as quickly as possible so I can rejoin my cast and crew on this incredible tour."

He also thanked his fans for their "patience and understanding."

Chigvintsev's post was flooded with well-wishes from fellow dancers and fans.

"Please feel better, we all miss you so much and wishing you a speedy recovery 🙏🏼❤️" Gleb Savchenko wrote, while Alan Bersten commented, "Love you brother. Get well soon."

Pasha Pashkov shared, "Rest up and get better soon man 🙏" and Carrie Ann Inaba added, "I hope you feel better soon Artem…"

The "Dancing With The Stars" live tour, featuring special guests Kaitlyn Bristowe, Iman Shumpert, Jimmie Allen and Amanda Kloots, runs through March.
