Tony Shalhoub is returning to his iconic role as Adrian Monk.
The actor, who earned three Emmys for the series of the same name, which aired on USA, was featured in several first-look images for the upcoming film “Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie.”

Shalhoub portrayed Monk for eight seasons from July 2002 to Dec. 2009.
The mystery-comedy-drama series followed Monk, a San Francisco Police Department detective, who has a nervous breakdown after the death of his wife, Trudy.
After losing his job as a detective, he acts as a private consultant for the police. All the while he battles with an obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Along with Shalhoub -- who serves as an executive producer for the film -- original series cast members returning for the film include Ted Levine, Jason Gray-Stanford, Traylor Howard, Melora Hardin and Hector Elizondo.

"Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie" will be available to stream on Peacock on Dec. 8, 2023.
