Marvel movie fans finally got the trailer they've been waiting for with the long-anticipated first look at "Thor: Love and Thunder."
The teaser trailer, set to Guns N' Roses' classic "Sweet Child O' Mine," opens with Chris Hemsworth's titular character on the search for what comes next after giving up the Asgardian throne to Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie at the end of "Avengers: Endgame."
"These hands were once used for battle. Now they're but humble tools for peace," Thor says in the clip as he buries Stormbreaker, his fearsome axe, in the ground. "I need to figure out exactly who I am," he says.
Thor is then shown getting back into shape, wearing a trucker cap emblazoned with his self-given nickname: "The Strongest Avenger."
"My superhero-ing days are over," Thor says, walking away from a battle while Chris Pratt's Peter Quill/Star-Lord and the other Guardians of the Galaxy run toward it.
